turn signal flasher

Post by rbond »

Does anyone know of a replacement flasher for GT750,550,500,etc. OEM part# 38610-32210. The cheapest I have seen is $48.00. Again I can't see the high price for this, an after market for a car is $3.00. Guess I will have to open the old one up and see if I can reverse engineer this too. This is nuts to go to this much trouble for the simplest of things. :x :x

they are smaller than stock(loose in the holder). you could probably fit it inside the stock housing if you're worried about appearance.

Open you old one up and see if the contacts need cleaning and drawing in a tad, thats usually the problem.

I bought a small electronic one form Autoparts and it seems to work fine with old style bulbs, LEDS or just the fronts and no rears - any combo and the cost was about 10 bucks IIRC.

I bought a two terminal electronic flasher from Oreilly's Auto parts for $9.79. Works perfectly.

That's quite a saving over OEM prices. Problem solved cheaply. Gotta love it.
