T500 Electronic Ignition source

Post by tgrogan »

Has anyone ever contacted Power Arc Ignitions about an electronic ignition for the T500? They are a small company in IA that is very willing to take on new/custom products. Their design is quite simple and seems to be easily adaptable to anything with a points plate. It has a rev limiter, programmable advance, and, is multi-spark. The nice thing is the cost which would be around $285. I just got one for my Ural and there is nothing but praise from the community about how well it works.

So many options, so little time.. For a twin, that looks like it could work. At $285 it's a bit more expensive that some of the other options but it is programmable, so that's a plus.

One of these days someone with more time and money than sense could test a whole bunch of ignitions back to back so that the rest of us could tell what's worth the money and under what circumstances.
