I need some rear spokes for a GT500. Anyone know a good source?

Re: GT500 spokes
Hmmmmm..........hope your experience is better than my own. I ended up binning the ones I got for the GT750 and going with Suzuki ones I managed to find after some searching around. The Thai ones I got didn't fit properly.rbond wrote:Ordered a front and rear spoke set from Thailand. Hope it is all they say.

Re: GT500 spokes
I'm pretty sure Suzuki still sells the spokes brand new.

Re: GT500 spokes
Only the front set is available. Part number 55320-45000 for about $68.00 at Alphasports. I mainly need the rear as I have one that is broken. It looks like Thailand is trying to be the source for hard to find parts, I think Paul Miller better watch his back.......

Re: GT500 spokes
Let me know how those Thailand spokes work out. I may need a set for my GT500 too.

Re: GT500 spokes
Spokes came in 11-5-2010! They look OK in the package, I have yet to compare them directly with the spokes on the bike. Once I do that, I will post the results. If these are usable, I don't when I will re-lace the rear with the holidays coming 'round.......

Re: GT500 spokes
Have not tried them yet, waiting on some decent weather to work outside. They look OK, same guage at least on the rear. The front do not have the larger guage close to the hub as the OEM spokes. If the length is the same they should still work, I hope. I will let you know how it turns out.
