Hands down the coolest, most tastefully modded 550 I've ever seen. Is that a stock headlight bucket or did you go aftermarket?

The headlight bucket (and lamp) are from a GT380. I like the smaller size. To me, it just looked better than that big pie pan headlight.

Very nice Chris!! Shades of "Blueboy", only in red. What wheels are those? The whole package looks terrific. Nothing matches a two stroke with chambers. Cheers.

Wheels are Morris Mags. They were aftermarket wheels back in the day. They came complete with a rear master cylinder and rear disk. I didn't use any of that stuff. I used a swinger off a 80 GS750 (wider) so I was forced to make my own bearing carriers, disk adapter and sprocket adapter. The rear disk is off a GS as well and so is the caliper. Big drawback to the whole deal is there is no cush drive for the sprocket. It bolts directly to the adapter which is bolted directly to the wheel. I thought this would make it hard shifting and jerky. As it turns out, if you didn't know it before hand, you would never even notice it. The whole package works really well.
