baffles
hey guys, my gt550 has the baffles removed on the center pipe, is there anywhere i can get some used baffles or new, though those may be pricey, if i cannot find replacements, im thinking about removing the other two for now, how will this affect performance?

Re: baffles
probably best to try and source some baffles for your inner pipes, the bike will run without them but it will be REALLY loud and could affect fuel mixture, etc. They do come up on eBay.
I have a dyno test of a GT250X7 (European-market aircooled 250 twin) which shows that bike bike gave 2bhp more with the baffles removed from the stock pipes ....

Re: baffles
GT550 baffles are still available from Suzuki. Part number 14510-36100 and I think about $29 USD each from Dillons.
