T500 project page

Post by netbikes »

Started a page at netbikes for my T500J,
http://auction.netbikes.com.au/vjmw.php ... ge=72t500j" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Turns out it was once green so looks like I will be able to get a match pretty easy.
Cheers....chris

may not be too many updates for a bit, I am away on holidays from Sep 12 till Oct 20 and chrome parts are stopping me from going further at the mo.
I can still do stuff like change the wheel bearings and put the engine back together.

Looks good. Did you do your own zinc plating or send it out? If you sent it out, can you tell us how they charged? Was it by the piece or some sort of bulk rate?

Hi Mike, in this case I sent it out, he works from home and charges by the kilo, $35.00. My lot was $105.00

I do have a kit from janekits.com.au but it is not set up currently as I did some garage reno recently, but besides that I only use it for odd bits up to 20 at a time.
To do a whole bikes worth at once would take me days.

Got the eng bottom end in the frame today, I still need one barrel stud before I can complete the assy, if anyone can help with that please let me know.

One of the clutch cover threads is also stripped so I will need to heli coil that.
