GT750 caution and warning decals

I ordered a caution and waring decal set for the GT750 and are getting ready to install them. Does anyone have a drawing showing where they should be installed in their factory location?

Funnily enough, I just put together a list for myself on this also - see if this makes sense for you - this is for a '73 right ?

- battery warning label with the picture goes on the right side frame rail by the battery
- warning label about not blocking the injector oil cap on the inner rear fender - in line left to right, and facing forward - so it looks right side up when looking toward the rear of the bike
- tire pressure label is centred in the middle of the rear fender below the rear light mounting bracket and square with the licence plate
- the 'dont rev the engine' goes on the handle bars between the handle bar mounts
- the 'brakes don't work when its wet' label on the left lower fork leg about 2/3 of the way from the bottom
- the radiator mix decal goes on the radiator cover - square and centred in front of the fuel cap
- the wash the chain label goes on the left rear upper shock cover about an inch up from the lower edge
- the CCI label goes on the right side cover in line with the oil level bulls eye
- the DOT 3/4 label is supposed to go on the brake fluid reservoir cover

I don't know where the round yellow 'check coolant level' one goes.

Sound about right ?

It's always funny to me that you WANT those labels. They were always the first things I removed from my bikes.

For a cafe or modified then I agree completely Lane - it is totally owner's choice. If the aim is a restoration though, I'd suggest it would be incomplete if you left them off. My '73 Buffalo resto will have all the labels, as will my GT500 resto - however the GS framed T500 I'm thinking of eventually building won't have any.

Ian i believe the brakes "dont work in the wet' label goes on the right side fork leg.
The only thing i can think of for the round yellow coolant one is the radiator cap, but its obviously for the modern type since the old "button" caps carry a different label.

Proof again that you should be careful asking a dyslexic for directions

You are correct, it does go on the right fork in line with the upper calliper bolt. Those yellow labels are included in most sets I've seen, but I have to admit I can't recall ever seeing one on a bike.

So, Here's a question: Did the 71 T500 have stickers like that? All I've got on mine is a CCI sticker. If they did have them, does someone make replicas?

I think '71/'72 just had the CCI label on the oil tank.
