Hey Mark those gauges look too sweet,, oh and the rest looks good too,,, ok im just kidding, the whole thing looks great.
Great news its back on the road, so shall we see you at Deals Gap for 2011??? maybe???
Your Buffalo looks great! Did you repaint it or were you lucky enough to find bodywork that nice? I love the color! If it's a repaint, what color did you use?
thanks jim,the paint is original. the photos show it in the best light, the clearcoat has peeled (stored in a shed in texas) from the edges and along the top ridge of tank but i am looking for a stripe about 1/2 to 3/4s wide to lay on the top to hide the mess and the edges i plan to paper down and reclearcoat. its a shame because the bulk of the paint is in great shape.
i was going to redo the side pannels and headlight as the clear is like treale all brown and rippled.
i have a 72 tank in prima to swap out but cant decide weather to go with the original style or something else .
i havent tried to get a color match yet but will post when i do.
thanks mark.

Mark - I suspect you already know, but Reproduction Decals has the correct tape kit for this colour, and may be able to tell you the modern day colour codes for the base finish. Erik Potze in NL also sells fully refinished sets of body work in this colour. I'm not sure whether he'd be willing to supply the info, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
