Paul Miller suzuki... WTF

Post by tygrant351 »

I sent my stuff out this past winter to get painted... It's been months and he said it would be max 4 weeks. now he wont pick up his phone or return my emails... I have several other bikes that need paint and they are NOT going to this joke. anyone else deal with him? I'm getting pissed.

Why am i not surprised by this behaviour, it sounds just like a tank emblem he sold as NOS yet it clearly wasn't.
I returned it but never got my money back and he would not answer me.

Paul can be a pain in the ass!
some times he will do exactly what he say's other times you get the short end of the stick.
keep calling and emailing him, he does have other guy's that work there and maybe one of them will answer.
I know he reads this board (use too any ways) because after I posted a complaint about him here in the past, magically the problem was resolved shortly afterward's.

for future reference, unless it is absolutely necessary don't deal with him! he is unreliable more often then not.

I wonder if he put them into the feedback listing of Pauls ebay store.

I'm sorry to hear you guy's are having trouble with Paul Miller Cycles. I've gotten quite a few parts from them and have had no problems. I called told them what I needed and they arrived within a few days and have always been good quality OEM parts. When a problem did arise it only took one short call and two days later it was resolved. I have always talked to Jeff and he has been good to his word and easy to deal with. I guess I've been blessed.

i've had mixed results with him. I've ordered a conrod set that was fine. Then i ordered a crank seal kit that was missing 2 seals when i received it. I emailed him with no response. I called 2 days later and got another guy there. He was very nice and said it is basically him and Paul along with a woman that puts up the ebay descriptions...he blamed the error on her. Anyway, he sent me the two missing seals the same day I talked to him. My guess is Paul thinks he is the only guy around doing what he is doing and has a big head...and he never learned what it means to have good customer service. He can probably get away with being an ass more than a company dealing with parts available from a 1,000 other dealers. Obsolete parts may also mean obsolete service in the case of PM.

I dealt with him waaaaayyyyy back when......at least 10 years ago now.
Massive agony to get what I'd paid for....but I did finally receive the item.
Never dealt with him again no matter WHAT he had that I needed.

of PMS (Paul Miller's Shyte) over the years on this and other boards, I have to say I'm not missing anything....except the heartburn.

He's slow sometimes, but he's always sent me what I've ordered from him.

I've had a couple mix ups as well, but he made them right in the end.

I'd order from him if he had something I needed.

I'm glad it worked out. I've had 2 issues with Paul, one a rear fender that was NOS about 30 years of use and vibration "before" it got chromed and shipped to me. Second is a radiator guard that had pits and sanding marks under the re-chrome, not quite the NOS piece I thought I had.

In all, Paul has made everything good with me. He has shipped me thousands $$$ in parts and I'm 100% happy with his service and products. He does get in a hurry, but I really could not have put the GT together without him and his parts.......... I really like that I could call him and I'd always, always see the part in 2 business days.

I don't have too much trouble with him, can be slow shipping sometimes but I eventually get them, also he's always replied to my emails , so no complaints here about Paul

In this part of the world, where I live, people like PM pass away before their time. I learned the hard way with him too: body set repaired with epoxy and miserable paint, body set that never arrived -750$, fuel petcock that never arrived -60$, wrong turn signals -80$, "NOS fork lowers" as re-chromed stuff, etc. Well, with other parts like NOS transmission for Kawi H1, repro shocks, lots of T500 parts, I've never had a problem. I guess, my total loss was about 1/4 of all deals.
