Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hey fellow buffalo riders before I put the cylinders on my 72 gt 750 should I lube the cylinder studs with anti-seize compound, what can I do to stop the water from getting to the studs, I herd the 76 buffalo has seals on the head bolts or studs, can I do the same on the 72, would I use O-rings? your advice is always welcomed.

A definite 'yes' to the anti-seize compound. I use the high temp Permatex, but there are other brands. And the washers you need are still available from Suzuki under part number 09168-14008. You can read about it in service bulletin GT5 here. Cost should be around $3.18 a piece in USD.

Thanks for the service bulletin I have a problem with the starter clutch and now I think I know what the problem is, I'll order the seals and hopefully I'll have it running by summer.
