76 GT750 stock slides what do they look like?

Post by MotoMartin »

Does anyone have a photo of their stock slides. At the bottom of my slides next to the needle, the hole has obviously been chamfered on each side. Does anyone know what the purpose of that is and if it whould negatively impact the rideability/powerband?
The needles are on the bottom setting, I'm assuming the stock setup is in the middle?
Cheers.

I just looked at the set I have here. They have the same hole but they are not chamfered. Just a small edge break. As far as performance goes - that will have to be answered by someone else. I believe the stock position on the needle is the fourth notch from the top.

I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

If i were to guess , it looks like they were running rich at idle so they tried adding more air instead of smaller pilots

Thanks guys,
I've raised the needles to the middle position to see what difference that makes. When it stops raining I'll take it for a spin.
