Hi Guys,
I have a strong yearning for a GT750 and one has just appeared on my local version of ebay. It is a 73 and was completely restored a few years back. The guy says it's got a NOS pipe on the right and two others have been refurbished. He apparently redid the whole motor with all the seals etc - but that is a few years ago now.
I've spoken to the owner and he has experience doing up these beasts. (He sold a mate of mine a 72 with chambers and that runs sweetly). This one has a different clutch lever due to his dodgy hand and a repainted tank - he apparently doesn't like the original design on the tank!
Anyhow, he's not interested in taking less than his asking price (
). It's not too sky-high (for around here) if it's as good as he says it is. As we all know, to completely redo these bikes costs a whack. Also, there aren't too many J and K models down here.
Would you guys mind having a look at the link and giving me your opinions on whether it looks correct for a 73 and your overall impressions?
