Interesting speedometer face shown on this 77 buffalo gauge vid, its got both mph and kmh. The idle speed is set too low as well.

Hmmm... nice sounds, not standard pipes, that's for sure.

I dunno about that idle speed - I reckon his tacho is reading way too slow. Watch when he gives it a good rev, it only peaks at about four grand but it sounds like it went significantly higher than that...

My bike won't run let alone idle anywhere near those revs.

The tach doesnt seem to be working the best as you say but the idle still sounds a bit low as well regardless of what the gauge is reading.
Apparently that poster is in the UK so was that a UK version instrument, those are also very dark brown coloured faces for a 77 model bike.

Think he may have a charging problem... watch the neutral light when he revs...
