Are they Mikuni VM 32's or 26's..
also, if I decided to run a flat slide instead of round, do you foresee there being any problems? Just need to know the MM size...thats about it
Thanks Guys,
Zac
P.S. its been a while since ive been in here...good to be back!

Stock carbs are 32mm.
The easy way to check is to measure the bore. Not the intake, but at the narrow part where the slide runs up and down.
Flats generally are more responsive which is good for a street bike and usually make slightly more power but will need to be jetted from scratch.

awesome thanks...
I'm just having some issues with the carbs and i dont think they are rebuildable, rather spend the $200 and get a nice set of shiny ones!

VM34's would be a good choice.

I can't recommend anything without knowing a whole lot more about teh application.
34VM are cheap and available and fine for the street.
TM or TMX34 are even better on the street
For a full on drag race motor 36 or even 38mm would be better with the nod again going to flatslides, but wide open teh differene is less than at part throttle.
For Vintage racing flats are usually not allowed unless they are Lectrons which came out in 78.
For road racing, Eric (zookie) knows way more than I.

I'm actually about ready to give up on this entire project, its costing WAY more than I expected, and I have another t500 that is perfect..
maybe I should just part it out,
how much do you guys think I could get for the motor?

DON'T GIVE UP YET!!!! I think I have a set of clean, stock T500 carbs that I will sell you for a good price. Let me check; I have to start cleaning my storage shed out this weekend. I'll see what I can find.

It's not that, ive stripped the entire bike and cant figure out the wiring, I dont know how to read schematics, seems like everything is junctioned into the headlight, i wanted all new lights like led turn signals and such...i fabricated and welded on some brackets to put on a different swingarm, this damn thing is just so costly, i think i could make a little bit of money parting it out, the motor runs great, the frame is in good shape, i think I could part it out, and just buy something newer....
I know none of you want to hear someone wanting to part ways with their zuke, but the economy here is empty, and what I do for a living doesnt pay much, so I need to do whatever I can to make it by you know?
So, like I said, I've got the frame with the original title (yes original), the motor which runs great, has like 6k miles on it, the forks, rims, stock swingarm, etc...
I don't want to do this but I feel like its my only way to get by right now..you know?
Thanks for the offer Lane, I appreciate it

I keep having change of heart...everytime I go out to the garage, I just wanna make it beautiful and keep it...ughhhhhh this is hard...maybe I will just keep it, I'm just gonna need a lot of help and guidance along the way, I'm pretty mechanical but this wiring is just confusing me..
So I guess here is what I need...the two carbs, the swingarm bearings/swingarm nut and bolt...and the oil line that goes from the oil tank to the pump..
anyone know where I can get these piecessss

Zac i redid the wiring on my Titan, stripped the remainder of the peeling tape off and cleaned/checked the pvc covering.
Once i had it all good to go i retaped it and added a few new plastic connectors.
Anything you want to know about the harness i can assist you with,, no problem.
The guys on here should have a few parts you may need to complete your bike, but they will have all the knowledge you will need for sure.

I dont want to replace the wiring, I want to get rid of it if possible, Im going for led lights and obviously the stock loom wont have it, i unplugged everything out of the headlight/speedo/tach and there are just wires EVERYWHERE up front..

I'm missing something here???, you want to replace the lights with LEDS BUT you still need wiring so why not use the original harness, its very basic anyways.
Hows the bike supposed to look in the end, will it be a registered road bike or stripped track bike.
