Do you know which model DYNA coil you're using on your GT500? Just curious as I have a GT500 and may pick one of those up.

I have checked the oil tank and it is slowly going down! Guess that's great news (at least to me). I have no reason to think the bearing isn't getting oil, it's just that I hear a little noise from that side of the engine. I'll just run it and take a chance (watching pretty closely and not go too far from home  The oil in the tranny didn't seem at all green so maybe it is just old oil. I'll refill it tonight and again, run for a while and watch. I do really love the look and feel of this bike, especially around curves up canyons here in Utah. I used the advise of some on this board and just rattle canned the tank and side covers with a silver metallic paint and then clear coated it and it does get it's share of admirers ( at least I don't think they are laughing at me).

Finally got the plates on her and took it out today.
Great ride, seems to handle well. actually really handles well in the corners. its kinda suprising.
I managed to get the headlight upgraded ( pics tommorow )
also need the seals between the headers and exhaust chambers.
aside from that it runs great. really does like the lower altitude.
don't notice much power difference, but the engine runs cripser.
I'm back to stock size jets, they may not be optimal but they work for now.
definately a different beast than the buell ! but still a blast to ride.

will update with pics on the headlight mod.

Well it was running better up to the point I holed the right piston

Ah well I guess that means new pistons, etc. and new crank seals.
