Get rid of the corrosion as good as possible with wire brush, or other clever tool, then put JB weld in there to cover the holes. Should hold til another one surfaces. If a Water Buffalo bowl will fit, I have a few. Post some dimensions at the threads. Cheers.

Fred, looks to be close, I am using a plastic

mic/caliper, the best I can tell the threads are 25 and some change, top to bottom are about 23.5.
