I am planning to upgrade the voltage regulator. Was hoping others may have updated suggestions?
I was looking at this Ebay item:

Thanks.

I am still very happy with the rectifier and regulator I bought here a few years ago for my Water Buffalo.

I believe the item you linked is only the rectifier, not regulator. I am assuming you are talking about a T500. The Suzuki twins use a single phase charging system while the triples use a 3 phase system.
I replaced my rectifier/regulator with a Tymion unit, it involves some wiring changes.
Rex's speed shop in the UK sells a plug and play combo unit, part number RR12v-31
I am not sure if any other offers plug and play replacement.
It does pay to upgrade, considering the stock system can put out 16-18 volts, problematic for lights and AGM batteries.

I’m using the Rex’s speed shop reg/rec on my GT500. Slightly different part number to the one mentioned.
Reasonably priced and faultless so far.

For the twins (T500/GT250/T350/T250) I upgrade to a modern rectifier/regulator. Then you can switch to a modern AGM battery.
I've bee using a Tympanium , or an equivalent.
For info on installing & wiring it, see my old post:

I followed JABCD’s advice and fitted a Tympanium reg/rect on my T350 so it now delivers a safe, stable 14.3 volts at all revs.
