Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hi Guys,
just a quick question on the oil pump - throttle settings.

Do the two lines on the pump arm align when the throttle is open and the dot is in the top of the window on the carb - or when the throttle is closed?

- the haynes manual and the climar manual are a bit vague on this (or maybe im overthinking it!!)

Yes, according to the 550 shop manual at oldjapanesebikes.com

Didnt want to spend ages cleaning and rebuilding, only to seize the engine first ride!!!
