New Member saying Hi

Post by Vanguard61 »

Hi, I'm a new member who is waiting to collect a 1972 TS 400 Apac
he, problem with import paperwork ATM but hopefully sorted soon. The bike is mostly original with 6400 miles on the clock. I am new to suzuki 2 stroke ownership as I currently have (and have had for a long time) a couple classic and new Triumphs. I'm sure I will need some advice and guidance when I take ownership of the bike so thanks in advance.
One thing I know that's missing from the bike is the heat shield from the silencer and I'm guessing these are hard to come buy. Does anyone know if these are available anywhere? Thanks
.

Welcome to the forum.
Here's one that was restored recently (on another forum) that may give some encouragement. https://www.kettleclinic.co.uk/kcforum/ ... ilit=Ts400
Spares/parts for the TS400 are difficult to come by as I understand that it wasn't officially imported into the UK.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
