550 expansion chambers for sale?
Anyone happen to have any 550 expansion chambers they’d be willing to part with? One of mine fell apart the other day.

Re: 550 expansion chambers for sale?
I think your main issue is that the chambers need support between the rear of the engine and the rear lower shock mount as the exhaust weight, especially with the added weight of the exhaust wrap, will cause them to break - but you already know that. I've marked the rear support bracket position on my pic. I appreciate the clean look, but sometimes you can take too many brackets off a frame, and if you get some new chambers, they will also break without rear support. You run the risk of damaging the barrels where the downpipes fit too.

Frames on earl model & late model GT550s are a bit different.
Based on the side cover, I think you actually have a 1972 or 1973 GT550.
This is what the exhaust support bracket looks like on my 1972.

Yeah I’m pet sure it’s a 73’. So you’re saying that the center stand mount alone won’t be enough?

Yep. It's too far forward and isn't carrying the weight properly.
