Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hi everyone I’m still having trouble with my leaking oil lines on my t500 - the quick fix I tried last time by encasing the joints in superglue didn’t work so I have managed to find a replacement set on e- bay . The question I have and need advice on is not about the oil lines but the slides in the carbs.

I didn’t keep them separate when dismantling and need to know whether the curved bit of the slide goes to the back of the carb or the front.

I’ve tried searching for pictures on line etc but can’t find anything to clarify

Curved slide cutaway goes towards the rear of the bike.
