gt500 lowspeed/highspeed coil wiring question

Well guys,
Looks like the reason my GT 500 has no spark may
be because of the fried green wire on my stator...
But before I plug in my soldering gun and miswire some
expensive looking coils, could someone tell me if I've got
it sorted? I'm assuming that this diagram-
http://smokeriders.com/Technical/wiring ... grams.html
is showing that the Black and red wire is conected to one end of the smaller coil (marked 197111) the black wire is grounded and connected to one end the larger coil (marked 187111) and the green wire runs between the free leads on both coils and then into the cdi?
I'm thinking the green wire was too close to the flywheel and rubbing on it... Have to epoxy it out of the way next time.
Thanks!
JD
