At the risk that asking this is akin to asking what's the best oil to use, I am about to refill my Buffalo with coolant after having the radiator cleaned out and would like to know what everyone else is using in their's.

I get premix at the closest motorcycle dealer in the smaller container.

For me that’s Honda HP premix coolant. Smaller container because I’m less likely to spill the coolant on that beautiful tank paint.

I’m a hobbyist mechanic of modest skills. And as Dirty Harry said, “a man’s got to know his limitations.” No point in pushing one's luck when it's unnecessary.

Any product that's suitable for alloy engines. Mix with distilled water to directions on the tin, and don't forget a bit of 'stop leak' or whatever it's called in your neck of the woods.

Thanks for the responses. I went with Prestone for aluminum engines and distilled water.
