Hello,
I currently have a 1976 Egli TZ750 Frame and since a TZ750 engine is 1) hard to fine 2) crazy in price. I am considering a GT750 engine in the frame as long as I don't have to cut into it. The TZ engine was just mounted by aluminum mounting brackets so that's easy enough to make custom. Is the overall size of the engine aprox. the same size as the GT550 or is it much bigger? Can anyone provide me the overall length and width of the engine.
Thank-you

Re: GT750 engine dimensions
The Hippo engine is much bigger (and heavier) than the 550, but easier to measure if someone has one out of the frame.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
