After years of neglecting my decades long list of Suzuki projects I had a 1971 Suzuki F50 scooter fall into my lap. While there are some parts available from Thailand for this (and also my A100) I have come up short on finding a replacement speedometer.
Would anyone be sitting on any 6V 60MPH speedometers in salvageable condition?

if it's the trapeze shaped speedo i think you'll find the k10/k11 hillbilly speedo will fit nicely. there seem to be plenty of those about. i've got a couple, but unfortunately i'm over the other side of the pond
cheers, dd.

Fortunately it isn't the trapeze share, it is the standard 3 1/2 inch round (or at least it was).

Excuse me, but I've just got to ask-
Any idea how that damage occurred? It looks like perhaps someone's ex took revenge on the scooter with a baseball bat, cricket wicket, karate chop, etc.
Or perhaps the ubiquitous "friend" took it for a spin?

Noticed that the housing is available on eBay for reasonable $$$. Good idea to get the parts you find ASAP because they might be gone if you wait too long. (I learned this lesson the hard way.)
There’s a good chance some other Suzuki speedo might work. Someone might have a good suggestion if you post some pics of the speedo + measurements.

Any chance the housing you saw was black and being sold in Thailand? My new upper and lower housings should be somewhere in the ocean on the way to me.
