Suzuki 2 Strokes

My nylon gear has finally given up. Not surprising after all these years. What sources are available for replacement these days.
Has anyone tried 3d printing to make a replacement?

I did not find any available new nylon gears.

Paul Miller has lots of parts listed on eBay & lots of additional parts. He may have the gear.

A Dutch Suzuki parts website lists the nylon gear as NLA, but states than reproductions will be available soon.

Unfortunately, while I have a mostly complete spare engine, even that gear has not stood the test of time. The gear in my spare has cracked from 45 years of age while sitting, so used is out.
I emailed a few places on Friday, so hopefully Monday I will get some news.
My brother is a dentist with an extensive lab. He mentioned if I could make an STL file he might be able to make it.
Another option, there is a company nearby called Plasticraft that I'm sure could do it, but I don't know what the cost would be. Probably fairly high for low volume, but never hurts to ask.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't know what 2SW is.
I went to PlastiCraft, which said they would have no problem duplicating it. Unfortunately, setup to get the initial one made would be $250. I am not looking for high volume which would reduce per item cost unfortunately.
On a positive note, a friend of mine that I mentioned it too told me his boss owns a few commercial businesses, one of which can die cast it out of nylon for me. His boss is returning from vacation this week, and told my friend he should have no problem making mold and casting a few.
I will still keep looking, as I have seen some sites that say they will be available again in the not too distant future.
