t500 steering stem

1969 T500 taking apart stem looks like the top is one bearing short. i have 18 is that correct? i did not get to bottom race yet how many should i look for? thanks Ron

Hello Ron,

If you look on the Alpha Sports parts fiche they list a total of 36 being required. Presumably 18 top & 18 bottom. Old P/N 06111-08004 superseded by P/N 06111-08003.

Geoff thanks for info. i am a old Honda guy but now have a T20 and a 71 T00 and this 69 i am restoring. thanks again Ron

18 top-18 bottom,about 1/2 a bearing gap is there so bearings dont rub together.grease well.
