GT750 - Found stuck throttle issue - guide pin missing

Post by Whit »

Throttle stuck on me. Finally found the issue. One of the carbs is missing the guide pin from the throttle body. I have no idea where it went. Anyone ever replace one of the Guide Pins?

This has happened to me twice! But both times I found the pin inside the carb. They are very small. I put it back with a little threadlock.

Thanks for the reply. I believe it fell out from the outside. I used an old carb needle to make a new one. //Pat

happened to me a couple weeks ago. Pin was just barely hanging on to the edge. Gorilla glue stuck it back in.
