Though someone did say in another thread that in their opinion Accent design was flawed due to the electronics being more susceptible to heat and vibration wear over time. That was their opinion and I haven't yet heard of any evidence to prove them correct. So you pays your money and makes your choice. E.I. is the way to go for me, but points are original and will do the job if you don't mind regularly maintaining them. After I've ridden my bike for a year in all weathers I should be in a better place to give a more thorough evaluation of Accent ignition. If you go for Newtronics, get new, not old stock.
