T500 side and tank badge colours

My 1974 T500L is in Gypsy Candy Red. The side panel badges need repainting having been bodged over the years. On stripping it looks like inside the numbers they were a metal flake orange originally? Is this right for this colour/model.
And the tank badges are bare metal except for outside the lettering which is black. Is this also correct.
