Throttle sticking open
Bike kept trying kill me ,doesn t help having ignition on the side when trying kill the engine, , must have taken the tank off ten times routing the cable this way and that ,finally found out the throttle slide was twisting in the carb and getting stuck above the idle adjuster the small pin that located in the groove had worked its way out . Anyone fitted a kill switch?

Re: Throttle sticking open
For the 1973 model year Suzuki added a kill switch to the T500.
Compare the parts diagram for the 1972 & 1973 models to see what you need to update your bike.
Alternatively you can just get a 1973&later right hand control & modify the wiring.
