hole question

what was this threaded hole for just in front of the chocks.same on the other side.
never did figure it out.just behind the strap.

presume you mean shocks john, not chocks? :D
only thing that comes to mind is something to do with logistics from japan, but only guessing.

yeah its shocks.stupid ebay spelling. for years I spelt it with an s.
got told that holes are for rear crash bars.

Maybe for a couple of uses.......that is, those holes are where the old KD (American manufacturer) vintage luggage rack front mounts connected on my T500. I had the original adjustable extensions cut/lengthened to back off the rack/trunk from the seat a bit. That rack was on it when I bought the T500 some 25 years ago with only 1900 original miles on it.

It's for an additional seat support for overweight europeans,special order part no: only kidding I've just knocked this up to give me peace of mind when going over speed humps ,was lucky with the height i thought I'd have to pack it up a bit but it's dead on .
