Gear shaft spacer t500
Looks like I'm missing a spacer on gearchange shaft in clutch side the part number says 09320-13004 but pictures of it on ebay look to long? I only need one about 7mm to stop the cogged pawl thing catching the clutch basket.it had been catching it before I took it apart . Should I just use washers? Cheers

Re: Gear shaft spacer t500
Hi Splant,
I have ordered this item twice by P/N and what I received was the plastic tube which goes over the gear change shaft on the left to protect it from the chain. I had a couple made and still have one. I can measure it's dimensions and post them up if it helps you.
Cheers Geoff

Re: Gear shaft spacer t500
hi splant, i think you are looking at the wrong part. the one you numbered goes on the drive sprocket side, not the clutch side. i presume the thingy you referred to is part number 25322-11000? the gear selector with cogs either side of it? question 1. have you got the thick washer fitted UNDER the clutch basket? should be something like 25mm i.d. x 43mm o.d. x 2mm thick.
cheers, dd.

Re: Gear shaft spacer t500
This is the parts diagram. I believe Splant is after Item 28, CUSHION P/N 09320-13004. What I received back from both Robinsons and Crooks when ordering this was item 32.
The Cushion prevents the gear shaft from sliding out to wards the clutch cover and potentially disengaging the toothed part from the matching teeth on the Cam Gear Item 4. It is a simple spacer, I had some made from aluminium bar
