GT380 Fork Brace - Are all GT380 forks the same size?

Post by ksluna »

Hi,

I'm looking to get a fork brace for my GT380. I came across this one right here: http://www.fastfromthepast.com/24-0012" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It says it only fits GT380s from 77-80. I have a 75 and was wondering if it would fit, as all the info I see online is that there isn't difference in fork measurements between the 380s. Can anyone confirm?

According to this website they all have a fork diam of 33MM

The bottom of the triple tree has part # 51410-33700 for 74—77 GT380s. So the fork tube diameter & spacing are the same for those years.

This link provides more info about the fork brace.
