Acetone (but not on the slides, only on metallic surfaces).....freezer.....nail polish remover as suggested here....
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=13649&p=170969&hili ... er#p170969" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and/or you could buy some chewing gum remover (aerosol freezer in a can) locally.

I used nitrile gloves, lots of rags and acetone or nail polish remover. Took awhile, but it worked.
