Loss of power after several minutes of running

Hello all, my bike has a noticeable loss of power after it has warmed up and been running for a while. Compression is excellent. Timing is spot on. The bike always regains it’s power after not being used for a few hours. I read someone that the ignition coils could be the culprit. The points/condenser are not new. Any ideas? The bike is a ‘66 S32-2
Thanks!

Failing coils usually cut out and lose ignition completely when they warm up (as they get warmer, the internal windings expand and short out), but you could try another coil if you can get one.

Also check the vent hole in the gas tank cap is clear and able to flow air - that would also give the symptoms you describe.

Could be float fuel level getting too low after a while. Is the float level set correctly? Is the fuel supply restricted/clogged?
