Float valve clips
Hi, lost one and the others very rusty ,are they needed ? Seem to be just to stop it falling out not to pull the needle down,so doesn't the float tang hold it in anyway? Cheers

One of mine pinged across the garage floor to be lost for ever.
10 000 miles later I've discerned no noticeable effects from its absence
I'm sure there was a reason for them, but lots of carbs don't have them - this was the first time I've spotted one - so I'm not concerned
