Does anybody know where i can get the proper tank striping for the black paint scheme for a 1977 gt500? I can only find the one for a 1976 red paint scheme or a 1977 gt750 which is different

A good painter can match that decal with paint if you can get him the details.

I'm assuming you were looking at Diablo reproduction decals. https://www.diablocycle.com/Tank-Sideco ... als-c-220/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" Yep, does not list the GT500B. Same problem run into from another member on his GT250K

I'm guessing you might have already considered just pinstriping if no luck finding the two tone one peice striping that was originally used. Not any tight curves in the your pattern. Looks like your pattern and the GT250K pattern shown earlier can be done with just a high quality (3M,Scotch,etc.) vinyl pin striping that comes in the small rolls you can find on the internet, auto parts supply houses or independent automotive paint supply shops. I would think finding the color or very close to the color (two separate rolls most likely)and installing yourself would be fairly easy but that's easy for me to say.......I've never done it either.

...or you could paint them on using a pinstriping masking tape like this 3M product along with regular painters masking tape to protect surrounding area if needed.

Find this guy.....he could probably do yours in a few seconds.
