1970 T250 Frame Paint Finish

Post by Syd »

Can anyone help and advise what paint finish was used on a 1970 Suzuki T250 frame and other black parts ie: gloss or a semi gloss paint? Thanks

Not a definate answer but I'm pretty sure all Japanense bike stuff was full gloss black in the 70s. Satin black hadn't been 'invented'. 40 + years of weathering might well render a satin look now though.

Thanks and yes, after doing some more digging, I think gloss black is correct
