I have been restoring my 72 T500J for a few years now. Installing the wiring is going OK. I was after some photos of how the wiring under the seat should look (the area between the battery box and the rear guard). If anyone can post a few pics that would be appreciated.
Cheers
Geoff

I'm having an error message/trouble over at Imgur image hosting site but here are some pics added as attachements instead... off the net that may help. If you need more, I can take off my seat later today or tomorrow and post some better ones unless other members have some handy. Make sure the bolts you use either for a modern rectifier/voltage regulator or the original regulator are not too long. You could damage the battery box below and make sure you have a good ground (if powdercoated) at the rectifier/flasher unit mounting tab.
Good Luck

dorT500,
Thanks for your post and photos - very helpful. I was wondering where the flasher unit mounted. Everything is now mounted - just need to check that everything is earthed - now to go out and buy a battery for the real testing!
Cheers and thanks again for the prompt response.
