It is individual tastes and what you're used to. The one time I gave mine the berries to see "wot it'll do" (as you do), I backed off when the speedo showed 130 and it was still accelerating. I have checked the speedo against GPS and it's 8% fast.

The 72 horses that Suzuki say these bikes have are certainly not Shetland ponies :lol:

I would love to have an SV650 for a track bike or daily rider. They are really popular at my track day org and lots of people race them. I think most swap out the forks for those on a GXS-R 750.

I’m sure the twin is much better for the street than the other inline 4 screamers.

That's right - GSX-R forks are an easy swap (they fit straight in) and you get better brakes with the GSX-R calipers too. If you get the chance, try a quick ride on one. Even as standard they're an excellent bike, and dirt cheap too.
