New member introduction! T350 Rebel owner

Hi Everyone!
I'm signing on here in hopes of discovering some of the invaluable information that's here from you experienced Suzuki people. I have just acquired a very nice '69 T350 that I am getting up and running. It was a daily driver for the previous owner until they moved out of the country and the bike sat for a few years without any riding. It's in very nice shape, but carbs are gummed up and so not running well yet. Runs better with the choke engaged.
I replaced a leaking petcock (was lucky to find the original part locally on a dealer's parts shelf) and am waiting to find out of he can order the factory carb rebuild kit.
One thing I have also discovered is the right muffler doesn't seem to have a baffle anymore. Not sure if this matters that much?
I am just getting back into riding after a long time stuck getting around with 4 wheels only. Can't wait to have this little gem leaping down the road!
Cheers, Marc
