GT750A Passenger Footpeg - Mounting point

Post by motomailer »

Dear Members

May it’s a stupid question, but is anybody able tell me on which mounting point the passenger footpeg will be on s GT750 A?
From the kind of footpeg holder I would say on position „B“ , but this is not fitting with the exhaus retaining plate.
Is there the wrong footpeg? I‘ve got the motorcycle aparte!

Many thanks for your feeback.

Best regards
Roland

Dear Evans

thanks for the picture. I've seen that it is mounted on position "B" also on other pictures I've found in the net. But this is not working in my case. The exhaust mounting plate is blocking the mounting hole partially. How this is handled on your bik?. Is there a cut out on your plate?

Roland, the exhaust bracket should be on the inside of the frame, not the outside. You have the exhaust mounted wrongly. That's why it fouls.

Should be easy to fix.

Many thanks to all of you.

According to the feedback of tz375 I assume both exhauts are mounted together on the inner side of the frame. I can‘t see it on the picture even I zoom in. I‘m going to try it.

Best regards
