Just joined the forum I have a few Suzukis in my Garage
both Modern and Classic
I am just Restoring a GT550 at the Moment

Yoo Hoo Chris. I'm not too far away - near Barnsley, and also have a caravan near Skipwith! Drop me a pm if you need spares.
I'm just doing a 550 same colour as that - had one back in '72. Gold is the best colour IMO. Hope to see that one of yours at Squires soon.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

+1 on that being a mighty nice GT550. And welcome to the forum.

Thanks Guys ,
I had to strip the Engine as the crank was seized solid,
I have sent the crank away to SEP at Kegworth for overhauling, been waiting 3 weeks now :(
Shame as the bike has only done 5K from new but looks as if it had some floodwater ingress to engine
The bike is from Missouri in the USA,a sticker on mudguard says
GARRETTS 215 READING at DORSETT MARYLAND HEIGHTS MO 6303
Maybe someone on here knows the Place
The bike seems to have been stood since around 1978
Rolling chassis all finished Im just waiting for the crank now.
