1972 GT750 project

Post by acruz »

I'm hoping to get this bike up and running soon. It just arrived from socal several days ago. The good news is that it has a title, the engine is freely moving, and the exhaust is in good shape. The bad news is the tank and headlight bucket are missing and it may need a new wiring harness. If anyone has an extra tank for sale, pm me. Thanks

Did that bike have a Windjammer fairing on it by any chance? I just noticed what appears to be a fairing bracket rising from the upper front engine mount.

I believe you are correct with the windjammer fairing, but this bike did not come with it. I had a Lavender gt750 that did have the white fairing but I sold that a year ago. I'm probably going to remove the brackets. If you are interested in them, let me know
thanks

Thanks, but no thanks. One of my HT750s came with a windjammer which I sold brackets and all. That's not quite the look that appeals to me but thanks for the offer.
