Suzuki gt 500 got my wiring mixed up.

Hello everyone, well its like this, im restoring a suzuki gt500 frame up.
Carbs cleaned jetted for my titan expanion chamber,new topend
new clutch, fired up sounds great, my problem is the key will not kill
the motor nether will the kill sw. Wiring? ground ?I tried grounding the kill sw manually
didn't work,stayed running.Any thoughts ?
any help would be great

PS before I started the they both worked fine.

The PEI ignition is self powered. The ignition switch & kill switch stop the motor by grounding out the ignition.

Did you powder coat the frame? This can cause lots of ground problems.
Do the lights work? If they don’t then you may have ground problems.
Did you replace the ignition switch? You might have the wrong switch.
BAS (Bike Acquisition Syndrome) - too many bikes but have room for more
