Fork dust caps to boot conversion

Post by Larry710 »

The Dust seal/caps for the top of the forks is unavailable for my 77 gt500. I'd like to get the "boot" style, but unsure if the earlier style is compatible with my later model?
What parts would I need?

Thanks
Larry

here you go larry. you've probably got the bottom chrome bit [which sits on the bottom yoke] on the right.
you need the type on the left - which are for gaiters :D
i think you'll find the dustseals on gt250 upwards are one size fits all, so you don't need specific gt500.
cheers, dd.
