Query regarding GT 750

Have a chance of a GT 750 triple it's a bit smokey should that be a worry

Worry if it doesn't smoke. It's a 2 stroke.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

also, what colour is the smoke? white, blue or black? :D

GTS250 road registered. TS250 engine, Ramair frame.
GT250 big bang road registered. Both pistons fire the same time. USD forks.
GT285 road registered. Overbored - 58mm and TS125 +2 pistons fitted.
GT10 road registered. '65 T10 engine, GT250 frame.

If it ain't smokin, it's broken......


It really depends on the amount, and yes the color. A translucent bluish/white haze is normal. Clouds you can't see through is not. It's difficult to quantify.

If the bike has been off the road for a while they do tend to oil up a bit. Also sometimes the bike is just started by the owner in the garage revved till warm then switched off. This causes oil and water to condense on the inside of the exhausts. Result is it blows out steam from the exhaust. A really good hard ride usually clears it.

It had been laid up for a while the smoke is just whitey not dark
Runs well new battery got it for a steal
