1968 Suzuki a70

Post by reaganjackbart »

Hi,

Just seeing if anybody knows the real value of my 1968 Suzuki a70 motorcycle.

I have owned it for the past 3 years and have not seen another one in Australia since.
How many of these model may still be getting around in Australia?

Was restored to original conditional by previous owner.

Currently registered on full Australian registration and gets ridden at least once a month!
Hope to get a response soon.

Sorry I can't give you any meaningful value estimate but I at least wanted to say your bike is a real beauty. it looks like somebody put a lot of time an money into restoring it. Not trying to a smart-ass here but I'm assuming you purchased it from the previous owner / restorer so at least you have one rock solid data point (the price you paid for it).
Currently - 75 TS250, 02 Kaw ZX-6R

Wow, that is a thing of beauty! Looks spotless. No idea what it is worth but I am guessing its value would be commensurate with condition and rarity.
This place has one in need of tlc for sale at $2000 http://www.classicbikeswa.com/bikes-for-sale/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Yours is in much better condition. My uneducated guess would be probably triple that figure, perhaps more. But I'd be willing to be proved wrong. Value on any rare bike is what one person is willing to pay for it. Yours is obviously a collectors dream since it appears standard and immaculately restored. All you need is one wealthy collector.

Beautiful....It's worth exactly what you can get for it. That's really the truth on old bikes.
If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.

Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........
