Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hi All,

A buddy is building a Seeley replica T500 but wants to use the std mechanical Tacho vice an electrical one like the Scitsu. His problem is the std. Suzuki T500 Tacho cable is about 200mm/ 8 inches too short. Does anyone know if there is an alternative Suzuki cable that will fit both drive and Tacho but will give him the length he needs.

Here is a photo of the bike in question. You can see the Tacho is mounted well forward.

Plenty of companies will make cables to length. Google it or look in classic MCM or similar.

I know of several places that will make custom bowden cables (if you can't do them yourself) but I have never seen any who can also do Speedo/Tacho cables. I will consult Google immediately . Of course a suitable Suzuki made option will be easiest and probably cheaper.
